The Prompt

Overview:

The DVHS Mobile Application Development Club welcomes you to our first hackathon. This hackathon challenges high-school and middle-school students to create an innovative project to compete for cash prizes and trophies. In this competition, your project will be presented to a panel of CEOs and professional judges.

The Prompt:

Identify a problem or unexplored topic that you would be interested in exploring/solving. Find an inventive solution to this problem. Additionally, create a presentation explaining your idea, your approach to the problem, and what you hope to accomplish with your solution. If your solution employs coding, it will be considered as well during scoring, and it will add extra value to your solution. Explaining your code to the judges and showing that you understand the principles of coding adds high value to your solution and will count heavily in your favor.
